역자 : Joshua Van Lieu About the translator Joshua Van Lieu is a historian of early modern and modern East Asian politics, thought, and critical international relations. He received his doctoral degree from the University of Washington in the histories of Chos?n Korea and Late Imperial China. He has published on nineteenth-century Qing-Chos?n tribute politics, the historiography of reform movements in late Chos?n Korea, the political roles of the Chos?n state Guanti cult, and on critical approaches to historical international relations. He is currently an associate professor in the Department of History at Keimyung University. 감수 : Lee Jonghan Lee Jonghan is a professor in the Department of Chinese and Chinese Studies, College of Humanities and International Studies, Keimyung University and Director of Dongsan Library. He is interested in the study of Chinese prose, including the works of Han Yu, as well as the translation of Chinese classics. His publications include The Prose Works of Hanyu: A Korean Translation with Annotations (5 volumes, selected as an outstanding publication by the Korean Academy of Sciences in 2013).
